I'm Burney van Leenen, a developer and indie maker based in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
I spent years managing digital projects and running an e-commerce business. Along the way I discovered what I enjoy most: building my own software.
red spark is what happens when you stop building for clients and start building for yourself. Small, focused tools for people who actually use them.
What I believe
- Building less — do fewer things, but do them well
- Shipping early — a real product beats a perfect plan
- Staying independent — no investors, no board meetings
- Solving real problems — software for coaches, not software for software's sake
When I'm not coding, I'm on the hockey field coaching at HC Tilburg, or trying to take beautiful photos.
